Sweet and Spicy Steak Fajitas


Simple to make, delicious, and a perfect option for a higher or lower carb meal option!


Recipe      (For 1 portion – multiply as needed to cook in bulk)


4 oz top sirloin steak, thinly sliced (raw weight)
1/4 red pepper, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced


Spice Blend:
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp brown sugar Splenda blend
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper


Combine all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Combine steak with 1 tbsp of spice mix in a pan on medium heat. Cook until steak is browned. Add onions and peppers and 1 more tbsp of spice mixture. Add 2-3 tbsps of water, and continue cooking until water is dissolved and veggies are lightly cooked.


Serve in a warm whole wheat tortilla or a protein tortilla as a low carb option. (Link to our delicious protein tortillas below) top with 1/4 cup salsa and serve.


Save additional spice mixture for future use.
