Try adding these few simple ingredients to transform your simple oatmeal into fall-style comfort food.
1/3 cup oats
1/3 – 1/2 cup water (depending on desired consistency)
2 Tbsp pumpkin puree
1/8 tsp cinnamon spice
1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Liquid stevia drops to taste
No-sugar syrup to taste (optional)
1/4 cup almond milk if desired
Combine oats and spices in microwave safe bowl with desired amount of water.
Microwave for 2 mins, stopping to stir as needed. Remove mixture, stir in pumpkin puree, continue to microwave for an additional 30-60 seconds, again stopping to stir as needed.
Remove and top with stevia and almond milk.
Makes 1 serving.
