Blueberry Muffin Breakfast Smoothie


A convenient, healthy and delicious on-the-go breakfast option. This one’s perfect for anyone who has a busy morning and doesn’t have the time to make and eat a sit-down breakfast, but still wants to start their day off right with a balanced meal. Look no further than this delicious mix of antioxidant rich blueberries, fibrous oats, and satiating protein that will keep you feeling full, help to stabilize blood sugar levels, and stave off cravings throughout the day.



30 grams quick oats

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein isolate (I used Beyond Yourself brand)

100 grams plain non-fat Greek yogurt

Dash cinnamon

1 cup almond milk

Mix all ingredients together in a blender or magic bullet and serve. I drink mine from a shaker cup on the way to work to reduce the chance of spills!
