Turkey Bacon & Egg White Poppers

Another high protein low calorie snack option that’s super easy to whip together, absolutely delicious, and fits into almost any weight loss plan or meal plan. I love these for a morning time snack with some salsa or low calorie ketchup. 



3 cups liquid egg whites
8 slices turkey bacon, cubed
1 cup tomatoes, diced
1/2 bunch green onions, diced
1.5 cups spinach, finely chopped
1/2 cup (30 grams) grated low fat cheddar cheese
Dash salt
Dash pepper
Hot sauce to taste

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
combineassembleCombine egg whites, turkey bacon, vegetables and seasonings in a mixing bowl. Spray muffin tin with low cal no stick spray. Divide egg white mixture evenly into muffin tin. Top with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through.  (Should puff up quite a bit and look absolutely mouthwatering!)



Serve with salsa or low sugar ketchup.


These are another great option to cook ahead of time and have on hand for a protein packed snack, or pair with an on plan carb choice to make it a quick and easy breakfast option!
